Why serve day? We see over and over in the Bible that Jesus was never too busy to make a personal impact in an individual’s life. He always took time out of what He was doing to minister to those around Him. So, as our church grows and reaches out into Reading, Pottstown, and Coatesville, we don’t ever want to forget our local community, those we live with, work with, and see every day! Serve day give us an opportunity to dive into our community, and love on our neighbors. It is a way for us to show our community a tangible example of God’s love. We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to love on our local community by getting involved and serving! We have tasks that are family friendly and for every skill level. So don’t be afraid to sign up to serve on Serve day. We will be serving our community by picking up trash, painting over graffiti in our community, serving at Zerbe Sisters and Hickory House (two local nursing homes), and offering a FREE community car wash. Please signup today for one of our two timeslots and our team will work to find you a great place to serve!

Once you have gone through the Growth Track Intensive, you can take the GROW Team Training. For the training you meet first as a large group for the first 15 minutes while eating a small lunch and then you break off into your different training sessions. You will get to meet with your future GROW Team leader and learn more about the specific ministry you want to be involved in. For each ministry team you want to be on, you need to sign up for this training! *You can be on as many teams as you want! You only need to take the training each time, not the entire intensive!
