Joe Barszowski is the Worship Leader at Morgantown Community Church and leads the congregation in song every Sunday morning.
Joe is completely dedicated to spreading the word of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ and giving Him praise through the music the worship band plays. Joe’s faith grows stronger and stronger as the years go by and gives due credit to his wife Diane for leading him from the darkness into the light.
Joe’s guitar playing career started at the age of 12 with his first band in 7th grade. He went on to play for a solid 25 years in popular club bands succeeding in playing all types of rock music and entertaining with passion. Joe now brings this passion along with joy to a whole new level in this mission to glorify the Lord our God through music. He feels the time has come to lift up our King using the gifts God has given, the gifts God has allowed him to enjoy for so many years.
Joe’s vision is hope that when the God songs are played you will be able to turn off the world around you and open yourself up wide for the Holy Spirit to pour in like a waterfall. Sing Sing Sing!
Tell everyone on this earth to sing happy songs in praise of the Lord.

One of Jill’s favorite scripture verses is Philippians 4:13, which states “I can do all this through him who gives me strength”. She is a strong believer that If you put all of your faith in God, He will provide.
Jill was the Preschool Ministry Director from May 2015 until May of 2019 and is now blessed to step into the position of Family Ministry Director at MCC. Jill is excited to walk along side the church families as they learn and grow in Jesus. Is there any better job?????

DJ’s first involvement with MCC was a summer internship while he was studying youth ministry at Valley Forge Christian College. Shortly after finishing his internship the church hired him to lead the the youth ministry.
DJ has said that he came for a ministry position and found so much more. The people in the church became like a second family but it was also at MCC where he first met his wife Stef. She was already serving in the youth ministry and over time their relationship grew. Today they enjoy life along with their children Ava, Charis and Isaiah.
Youth Ministry has been a passion of DJ’s since he was a young teenager. He accepted Christ on a youth trip when he was 13 and then became as involved as he could in that ministry. After graduating from high school he served on their youth leadership team until his move to MCC.
If you were to ask Stef to describe DJ in one word she would most likely say “Dork”. He loves knowing how things work and playing with technology. If something breaks he wants to take it apart to see what it would need to be fixed. He also enjoys bike riding, getting out in nature, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Dan is a retired public school music teacher (HS Band Director) of 34 years and retired from Twin Valley High School in 2018. Teaching gave him the opportunity to watch so many students become adults and mature, and in many cases have children of their own. Dan holds a BA and an MA in Music Education, and is one dissertation shy of a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. Both he and his wife Jody enjoy traveling, gardening and camping. Dan also enjoys woodworking.
After an absence from church, their daughter Erika (Kanter) brought them back into the fold. It wasn't long after that they both called MCC home, or as Dan says, "The 'Wright' Church for ME". Dan was baptised in 2017 and has found a home here at MCC. Being retired has allowed him to pursue another area of interest; Media. He is also active as an Usher, Communications & Marketing Team member, Anchored by Grace Outreach, two Small Groups, Live Stream Team, and a Wednesday night Bible Study. The Longs have three grown children and currently reside in Birdsboro.

Alison first came to MCC in July 2014. She was searching for a church that taught from the Bible and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In 2007 she graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She worked for seven years in the Human Resources field managing upwards of 400 employees. After marrying James in 2012, she left her corporate position so they could run their dairy farm together. Alison is part of the “Young Married” small group and continues to learn and grow in her faith. As office administrator she helps ensure data entered into the church’s database is complete and correct, managing the church calendar and creating presentations and handouts for services. She is also the leader of the Administrative team (A-Team). When she is not milking cows or working at church she loves to spend time reading and planning her next adventure with her husband.

Natalie Moyer started attending MCC in 2015. While it was slow going getting plugged in, she now serves Sundays and Wednesday’s in the GROW Kids ministry, and wouldn't go back! Natalie is grateful for the gifts and talents God has given her that lend themselves to this ministry. If it involves crafts, count her in!
Her greatest desire is to reach the children at MCC with the Good News and to help them develop a deeper relationship with God.
When Natalie isn’t hanging out at the church (you can say that when you truly enjoy being there 😊), she is either working at her full time job (sales & design associate at a kitchen and bathroom remodeling company) or spending time at home or outdoors with her family – husband Mike and 2 sons Zeke and Cash. Couldn’t be more blessed!
