    Don’t look at that mission statement and think “Oh great we are just going to have God shoved down our throat". That’s not us. We love to have fun but are here because we love teenagers and we love God. The mission statement has a simple purpose, to make sure we know our goal. Even though we built TCYM around evangelism, fellowship, worship, discipleship, and ministry we didn't forget the importance of having a good time.

  We want to have lessons that relate to real life struggles that teenagers face (they’re less boring that way). Our lessons are on things from lying to feeling God’s presence, from relating to parents to working hard in school. We don’t just have adults stand up and give a talk, we encourage the teenagers to teach also! The Bible is packed full of lessons that relate to everyday life. This shows that God is personal and wants to have a close and growing relationship with each of us.

  TCYM gives teenagers plenty of different things to get involved in. We have Teen Leadership Teams, GARMY, Sunday school, small groups and about once a month we have an event. Our monthly events could be almost anything. We go to concerts, do outreach, have over night events, camp on the beach, go on week long trips and many other things.
