Morgantown Community Church
At Morgantown Community Church we take pride in our name. We are a Church in the Morgantown area who is always looking for ways to serve our community. We want to be a place that is known for blessing people in the community. Because of this we are always looking for needs that we are able to meet.
Every weekday in this area in both the morning and the afternoon you will see a fleet of big yellow vehicles hitting the road transporting kids to and from school. We know that driving a bus can be stressful so every morning our parking lot fills up with drivers who are between runs who meet here for a break and to talk.
Broken—in—Britches
This local outgrown children’s clothing sale that happens every March and September at MCC. We open the doors to this organization coming in and hosting this because we know how hard it is to keep kids in clothes for a reasonable price. It seems with clothes either they get ruined right away or they are out grown too quickly. Why pay full price for them? This is a much better option for financially conscious families.
We open our doors to many different other groups and individuals coming in and using our building. Not everyone who asked to use the building is accepted and there is normally a recommended donation. Decisions are at the discretion of our trustee board and based off building schedule and purpose of the request. Please contact Stef Grick (MCC’s Administrator) for more information. She can be e-mailed at Stef@mcchurch.me and the building request forms can be downloaded here.
Every Monday night at 7:30pm we open our doors to the Twin Valley group of AA. They have used our building for years and we love giving them the opportunity. If you would like more information about the different groups that meet please visit this page http://www.readingberksintergroup.org/AA_Schedules.htm
